01Who we are

Viriathus is a house dedicated to selecting and selling antiques, vintage objects, art, prints, books and furniture, with a showroom at Mérida 22, corner of Puebla, Col. Roma Norte, Cuauhtémoc, Z.C. 06700, Mexico City.

02About our pieces

• We sell antiques and vintage objects. Most of them are one-of-a-kind pieces, with the wear, marks and small imperfections typical of their age and history, which are part of their character.
• Each piece is described and photographed as faithfully as possible. Dimensions are approximate and colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.
• Please review the photos and description carefully before buying. If you would like more photos, measurements or information, we will gladly send them: write to info@viriathus.com.mx or via WhatsApp.
• Dates, periods and attributions are stated in good faith, based on the information available and our team’s expertise.

03Prices and payments

• Prices are shown in Mexican pesos (MXN) and include taxes.
• Prices do not include shipping, which is quoted individually (see section 04).
• Payment is made through the methods available at checkout. Payment data is processed by secure payment platforms; Viriathus does not store your full card details.
• As our pieces are unique, if a piece is sold simultaneously in the showroom and online, we will notify you immediately and refund the full amount paid.

04Shipping and delivery

• We ship within Mexico only.
• After your purchase we will contact you with a shipping quote based on the piece’s dimensions, weight, fragility and destination. The piece ships once you accept and pay that cost. If you do not agree with the quote, you may cancel your order and we will refund the full amount paid.
• Deliveries within Mexico City usually take 1 to 3 business days from shipping confirmation. For other destinations we will provide an estimate with the quote.
• You may also pick up your piece at our showroom at Mérida 22, by appointment.
• When you receive your piece, please inspect it and, if it was damaged in transit, let us know as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, with photos of the packaging and the piece.

05Cancellations, exchanges and returns

• As our pieces are unique, we do not offer exchanges for another piece.
• Under Article 56 of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Law, you may revoke your purchase within five business days after delivery, without any liability. To do so, notify us in writing at info@viriathus.com.mx and return the piece in the same condition in which you received it. Return shipping and insurance costs are paid by the customer.
• Once the piece is received and inspected, we will refund the amount paid using the same payment method.
• If the piece you receive does not match the published description or arrives damaged in transit, we will take care of it, either with a full refund or a repair, as you prefer.

06Invoicing

If you need a Mexican tax invoice (CFDI), send your tax details to info@viriathus.com.mx with your order number, preferably within the same month of your purchase.

07Offering pieces to Viriathus

If you would like to offer us a piece, you can send photos via WhatsApp or email from our Sell your piece page. We do not offer an appraisal service and only review pieces with potential purchase interest. Sending photos creates no obligation for either party.

08Intellectual property

The Viriathus name and brand, as well as the photographs, texts, videos and design of this site, belong to Viriathus or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written consent.

09Privacy

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy notice.

10Complaints and clarifications

Any question, complaint or clarification will be handled at info@viriathus.com.mx or via WhatsApp. You may also contact Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) at +52 55 5568 8722 or 800 468 8722, or at gob.mx/profeco.

11Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States. For their interpretation and enforcement, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, without prejudice to PROFECO’s administrative jurisdiction.

Viriathus may update these terms; the current version will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Purchases are governed by the terms in force at the time they are made.
